Curved windshield — heat gun required: The Ranger XD 1500 windshield has a compound curve. You will need a heat gun (not a hair dryer) to shrink the film and work out fingers or creases. Watch our windshield install video before starting.

About the Ranger XD 1500 windshield: The XD 1500 uses a larger, more steeply raked windshield than the Ranger 1000 XP. This kit is cut specifically for the 2024–2026+ factory glass — it will not fit the older 1000 XP or polycarbonate windshields.

Install tips: Work in shade. Use plenty of slip solution. Start from the center and squeegee outward. Use the heat gun in slow, sweeping passes — do not hold it in one spot.
